Director of Bands & Percussion Director

Mr. Adam Beaupré

Mr. Adam Beaupré is the Director of Bands and Percussion Director at Munster High School and Wilbur Wright Middle School, where he leads multiple concert ensembles, the Marching Mustangs, and the award-winning Munster Winter Percussion Ensemble. Dedicated to fostering musical excellence, he emphasizes discipline, leadership, and collaboration, helping students develop both their technical skills and personal growth. Under his direction, the Munster Band Program provides students with meaningful performance opportunities, a strong sense of community, and the tools to succeed as musicians and individuals.

Assistant Director of Bands

Mr. Nolan Lehman

Nolan Lehman is a dedicated music educator and brass specialist with a passion for helping students develop their musicianship and love for performance. Nolan graduated from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with a degree in music education with a focus in trumpet. At The School Town of Munster, Nolan co-teaches the concert bands and serves as the director of both the Wilbur Wright Middle School and Munster High School Jazz bands. In addition, he co-directs the pep band and helps to lead the Marching Mustangs, working to shape the program’s energy and culture. With a student-first approach, Nolan believes in creating an environment where students can grow not only as musicians but also as individuals. Whether in rehearsal or on the field, he encourages students to pursue excellence in everything they do—both in music and in life. Outside of teaching, Nolan enjoys spending time outdoors, whether backpacking, camping, or simply appreciating nature.

Head Color Guard Director

Ms. Kenzie Kot

Kenzie brings a decade of performance and instructional experience to the Munster High School Marching Mustangs. From 2014 to 2018, she was an active member of the Marian Catholic High School Marching Band and Winter Guard, and had the honor of performing with the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band in 2018. After graduation, she has assisted as staff for programs throughout the Midwest.

Kenzie is passionate about cultivating a program centered on growth, integrity, and excellence. She promotes a strong work ethic, kindness, and enthusiasm in every rehearsal space while utilizing her expertise in dance fundamentals, rifle technique, and flag technique/performance.

Some of Kenzie’s favorite things include pickleball, Diet Coke, shopping and spoiling her nieces.

Assistant Percussion Director

Mr. Alan Frye

Mr. Alan Frye serves as the Assistant Percussion Director at Munster High School, playing a key role in both the marching and indoor percussion programs. During marching season, he leads the front ensemble and drumline for the Marching Mustangs, focusing on technique, precision, and musical development. In the winter season, he works alongside Mr. Beaupré to direct the Munster Winter Percussion Ensemble, helping students refine their skills in a competitive indoor setting. Through his expertise and dedication, Mr. Frye plays an essential role in shaping the percussion program and fostering student growth.
