The Mission of the Munster Band Backers is to financially support and promote to all Munster Bands Programs by broadening the involvement of ALL Munster Bands members, students’ families and the school through support of all Marching Band activities. The Munster Band Backers work to achieve this through active participation of as many parents and supporters as possible and by working together with the band director(s), principal, and administration of Munster High School.

We do this through:

- - - Raising funds to offset cost of all Marching Band Programs
    - Assisting in minimizing Band Program expenses by volunteering time and services.
    - Promoting and encouraging school spirit, goodwill and fraternal spirit.
    - Promoting and encouraging high standards of musicality, integrity, education and pride.
    - Promoting and encouraging student and parent/guardian participation in all Marching Band activities, either as an active participant or as a volunteer assistant.
    - Promoting and encouraging attendance in at all marching band activities by students, parents/guardians, faculty, staff, friends, and alumni of Munster High School.
