Jazz Band

The extracurricular Jazz Bands are ensembles dedicated to the study and performance of jazz, swing, blues, funk, and Latin styles. Students develop improvisational skills, explore jazz theory, and learn about the historical and cultural significance of jazz music. Instrumentation typically includes saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section with piano, bass, guitar, and drums.
